My rating: 5 of 5 stars

**I was gifted with an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review**

Releasing April 5th!

Eight Ways to Ecstasy (Art of Passion, #2) by Jeanette GreyBYJeanette Grey

**You must read Seven Nights to Surrender by Jeanette Grey before reading this book**

I have been impatiently waiting for this book since November. I had received that one as an ARC was absolutely intrigued with this story. I have repeatedly fallen in love with Jeanette Grey's writing. First with When The Stars Align then with Seven Nights to Surrender & then with Confessions in the Dark and now all over again with Eight Ways to Ecstasy. The writing is so profound and you feel like your a fly on the wall while reading this. You are transferred there through her writing. Enchanted and captured by this book from the very beginning. I love Kate and Rylan so much and i love the growth they both show and how much they go through together as well as separately. Those to me are the best books. Character development in more then 1 aspect. Jeanetter Grey you have easily became a favorite of mine and I will read ANYTHING you write. Looking forward to Nine Kinds of Naughty!!! thank you for the opportunity to have read this book.

Other books By Jeanette Grey that I have also enjoyed:

Pucking Book Review: Pucked Over BY Helena Hunting

Pucked Over (Pucked, #3)Pucked Over by Helena Hunting

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

**I was gifted with an ARC of this book by the author in exchange for my honest review**

This Book was just as entertaining and witty as Pucked & Pucked Up by Helena Hunting. She doesn't let you down with her writing at all. You get what you expect from her characters and more. First off you can't help but get a giggle when you hear the name Ballistic. DUH but we get Lily & Randy's story and an absolutely rollercoaster and its insanely sweet how they come to terms with their feelings for each other. I of course was left curious since reading Pucked Up about Lily & Randy so finally getting my hands on their story was exillirating. Thank you to Helena Hunting for providing the ARC's and I hope that we get Lance & Tash's story.

Below is the Pucked series by Helena Hunting
Book 1:
PUCKED (Pucked, #1) by Helena Hunting

Book 2:
Pucked Up (Pucked, #2) by Helena Hunting

Book :
Pucked Over (Pucked, #3) by Helena Hunting

P.S. Helena Hunting has easily became one of my favorite authors!

Book Review: Unforgettable by Cherie M. Hudson

Unforgettable (Always #2)Unforgettable by Cherie M. Hudson

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Unforgettable Always 2 by Cherie M Hudson
BYCherie M HudsonCherie M Hudson

Wow... A totally rollercoaster of EMOTIONS. First off Bravo because I have yet to read a book in just a males POV. Not that I am against it but because I have read others that the POV was in both the female & male but not one where it was just male. I found it really easy to read from just Bren's POV. This book had me confused, anxious, broken hearted, angry, pissed, sad, helpless then rewind & repeat all those emotions AGAIN. That to me is a masterpiece in its own. I wanted to hug Bren and slap Amanda but I guess I can also sympathize with her in the fact that its true. Fear can sometimes rationalize things that just aren't! So we meet Bren this hot Aussie (did I mention I love accents?! well i do and when there is one then I am in love!!!) who has big plans. He is about to graduate and already has his own business set to launch. He has only fallen in love twice. One of the times being recently with a girl who he lost out to and was friend zoned and the other an old flame named Amanda. When you hear him talk about Amanda you immediately know that its something he only thinks is over. But things are not OVER. When he receives a text from her out of the blue he immediately is packing his things to go see her because he knows it must be serious. When he gets there well his world is flipped on its axis and he is met with things that he never knew he would have to deal with. He has to reevaluate everything. Has obstacles to take on that no one should never have to. This story was beautiful and had me full of all kinds of feels!!!
Thank for the opportunity to have read this. I will be picking up the prior book and can't wait for the next.
P.S. I read this book in 1 day!!!

This book will be available on October 22, 2015

Weekly Book Review: June 30th 2015

WeightlessWeightless by Sarah Bannan

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

***I was gifted with an ARC of this book for my honest review***

Weightless

Wow... Wow. Often I finish a book and I have an infinite amount of thoughts running through my head but this one has left me with such melancholy. This book was absolutely NOTHING like what I thought it would be. I have never in my life read a book that was written this way. You never really know who is the narrator of this book but you know its someone who is without a doubt witnessing all this hurtful behavior. I am actually from Alabama so when I found out this book was based out of my home state I got excited. I know i know such a dumb reason to add to the fact that i wanted to read it but I mean really does anyone need a specific reason to want to read a story. Nonetheless I am so happy that I got to read this book. It touches on some really taboo subjects. Things that are active in our community today and that I think we should open our eyes more to. I think this book will help open peoples eyes to see that sometimes actions and words really can hurt. I am still with a small empty feeling from this book but I still feel thankful for having the opportunity to have read it. Thank you for this... Its beautifully tragic!

MY Favorite Fictional _?

So considering I have taken a dive into my books lately and I cant seem to come back to reality because of it I decided why not have a little fun with my non reality and just answer a few questions from this questionnaire... Please feel free to comment with your responses. I love to see what others thoughts are. SOO without further a do lets get started.

1. Favorite fictional couple? hmmm... ok so this is truly hard for me! I wanna say Augustus Waters & Hazel Grace Lancaster from The Fault In Our Stars but well its kinda hard when 1 of them is no longer with us. Another fictional couple that is my favorite is Jace & Clary from The Mortal Instruments series also cant forget to mention Rosie & Alex from Love Rosie or in other countries the book also goes by the name of Where The Rainbow Ends

2. Favorite fictional character? a favorite fictional character of mine is Tyrion Lannister from Game of Thrones he has proven that people can look at you and make assumptions and judgements but if you use your intellect & wit then you can have the upper hand in just about any situation. Intelligence really can help you get through life.

3. Favorite fictional TV show? well thats easy Game of Thrones and if your not watching it and SHAME ON YOUUUU... I have to also throw this out there because I'm literally biting my nails thinking about it. In 2016 The Shadowhunters will premier and if you don't know what that is well its The Mortal Instruments book series turned into a show on ABC family so I will just go ahead and say it now... ITS MY OTHER FAVE!
4. Favorite fictional movie? well thats not fair at all... its like picking a favorite child! off the top of my head The Hobbit and yes I speak of all 3 of them. I cried like a big baby!

5. Favorite fictional villain? hm Sebastian Morgenstern aka Jonathan Morgenstern

6. Favorite fictional hero? Katniss Everdeen & Clary Fray & Tris Prior... "who run the world, GIRLS!"

7. Favorite fictional pet? Church the cat

8. Favorite fictional setting/universe? HOGWARTS!!!!!!!!!! but also i have an obsession with dystopian societies so any of those... I know i know my chances of survival are not that high but i don't know they just tend to be my favorite. Panem, post apocalyptic Chicago, & the whole Maze Runner era. LOVE!
9. Least favorite fictional couple? thats easy Jamie Lannister & Cersie Lannister.... need i say more?!

10. Least favorite fictional character? Lord Voldemort of course

11. Least favorite fictional TV show? people are gonna hate me on this buuuuuuuut. Pretty Little Liars, ok so before you jump down my throat about this just give me a sec to explain. I had to give up on that series because I got tired of there being this big secret of who was "A" and then not ever really finding out and clues leading to something totally different. I would have moved away by then. honestly just poof GONE!
12. Least favorite fictional movie?  So it would be a lifetime movie... I don't often find myself on that channel however when I found out that Flowers In The Attic was gonna be turned into a movie I was stocked. Loved that one however they then picked up If There Be Thorns which is the 2nd book in that series and that movie was AWFUL!!!! nothing like the book not even the overall plot to me seemed the same. They killed important characters off really early!
13. Least favorite fictional villain?  Orks in The Hobbit. I will never get over Kili dying. It still makes my face leak!

14. Least favorite fictional hero? Elena Gilbert from The Vampire Diaries. I couldn't handle her wailing... Just give it up and ugly cry already.
15. Least favorite fictional pet? i cant think of any pets that are my least favorite. Sorry!

16. Least favorite fictional setting/universe?  hmmm... Game of Thrones. Ok so here is the thing I only said that answer because my survival would be pretty much non existent. However, let me learn how to wield a sword and horseback ride (I'm scared of horses.... NOT GONNA HAPPEN!) and maybe throw some hatchets and my answer might be different!

Alright so there you go guys. I hope you enjoy and I will try to continue to keep this blog as updated as possible.

Also how do you like the new look??????

xoxo,
Sherley

Book Review: "Between Now & Never" By Laura Johnston

Between Now & NeverBetween Now & Never by Laura Johnston
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

    Between Now & Never

****I was gifted with an ARC of this book for my honest review****

So where to begin? hmm lets start with how much I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I loved it from beginning to end. Plot twist doesn't even begin to explain what happens in this book. Like WOAH! I will not give anything away of course but wow what a great read. At the time when I got this book I was in need of a contemporary read and I got that and more. Cody & Juliana's journey together & seperate was what really made me appreciate this book. I love a good lovey story but when you have actual character development between the 2 and actual real life conflict that they must both get through on their own emotionally thats when the story really draws me in. Those are the best in my opinion. So often today contemporary love stories are so focused on getting the couple together but don't give them actual conflict and situations that they must grow from.

This book gave me everything that I look for in a contemporary read. Conflict, character development of both characters separately and together and a plot twist to give you whiplash. Thank you for letting me read this book and I hope everyone read this book because it was pretty much amazing!!! My only question would be what does Cody do with the memory card. But other then that i love love love it!

A favorite quote of mine from the book was:

"The major problem with falling is this: Its rarely a pain-free experience."

Thank you again for letting me read this!

Book Review: "Where The Road Takes Me" by Jay Mclean

Where the Road Takes MeWhere the Road Takes Me by Jay McLean
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

**I was gifted with an ARC of this book for my honest review**

WOW... So I was able to finish this book in about 2 or 3 days. This book pulled me in from the prologue. THE PROLOGUE people. I couldn't put it down. But of course we do need sleep as human beings and I am a mom of 2 kids so life happens.

So lets talk my thoughts before I started this book. I thought it would be about this couple that just go on the road together. That they just up & left for the purpose of just wanting to. Which did intrigue me I love very random spur of the moment events like that in a book. But to my surprise that wasn't the case and it was actually SO much better.

The conflict and the whole story within itself is so consuming. You feel for Chloe and for Blake and even Josh. I loved their way of clicking. How people so different and in different places in their life can still find a common ground was so beautiful. You appreciate everything. There were times when Chloe really did make me upset but at the same its part of her story. We cant ask for perfect characters. They wouldn't be lovable if they were perfect. Its the imperfections that make them more approachable or in this case relatable. I loved this whole story and Blake wow... He has became a new Book Boyfriend to add to my list. I have no shame in saying that. Thank you for that epilogue. Nowadays so many books either don't have an epilogue or leave with this rushed ending that your kind of left with questions and I didn't feel that at all. I was completely happy with it. Thank you for letting me read this.

I definitley recommend adding this book to your "TO BE READ" list... as a matter of fact if you CLICK HERE you will be taken to the contest entry to win a copy of this book. SOOO WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!!!!

Reckless & Fearless by Priscilla West Review (from the Forever series)

Reckless (Forever, #6)Reckless by Priscilla West
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

**I was provided with an ARC by Netgalley for my honest review**

First let me say that I have quite a few books by Priscilla West on my "To be read" list but as usual, "So many books so little time..."

Secondly I also know that this book already came out in August on 2014 so I am late on picking this up and technically it shouldn't even be called an Advance Readers Copy since I am reading it now in February 2015. But what can you do... better late then never.

Thirdly here is my actual review of this book. I absolutely loved everything about this book. I loved Riley so much. You don't understand my deep love for her. She was strong & bad ass yet so vulnerable. Made me relate to her so much more. I love when characters you love actually show their flaws & weakness's. Lets not forget Jax, I mean hello wow just wow and as damaged as he is he still found a way to be desirable and lovable. I loved Sky, Kev, & Chewie they were definitely those supporting characters that you wanted to see more & you wanted them to make more & more appearances throughout. I will say Priscilla if you are reading this (not likely!!!) I would love to read more about them. Specially since you described Kev as a Ryan Gosseling look alike. I think it had all the elements of a good interesting read. It had the right characters that intrigued you, the conflict, & the plot twist to pull you in even deeper into the book. So much so that half way through reading Reckless I went online & purchased Fearless for my Nook. I wanted to be ready to start the next book. I wanted to know what was happening and how it ended. I was totally sucked in. I finished both Reckless & Fearless in 3 days. Yes its that good. I am so wrapped up in these characters that I am actually going to read the rest of this series. Incase you didn't know this is part of the Forever series. Each couple (a total of 3) has their own little standalone series so you don't really have to read the very first book in the series you can pick up whichever couple you would like to read about & then pick up the first book in their miniserisePriscilla WestReckless. In my case I was given this one so I read it but I am going to pick up the other 2 miniseries so I can have the whole Forever series read. I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this book and I look forward to reading the others!

A little Book Update for you all "One of The Guys" by Lisa Aldin

This book will be released this month and as a lover of contemporaries I recommend this 100 PERCENT!
One of the GuysOne of the Guys by Lisa Aldin
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

    * I was gifted with an ARC by the publicist in exchange for an honest review*

This book was absolutely riveting. I loved the quirky approach to the characters relationship with one another. What connected them was so different and I definitely was drawn in because of that. The history they had and how far back it went was so fun to hear through different breaks of reminiscing. McRib (Tonya) is a character that I thoroughly enjoyed. I think its great when a character can prove that she can be one of the girls & one of the boys. I definitely felt like I related to her because she didn’t want things to change and she didn’t want anyone to change but the reality is that we change everyday. I myself have felt that more times then we are human beings wish to admit. Cant leave out the element of this book that draws you in deeper then it already has and thats the connection between Micah & Tonya. I rooted for them and I am extremely happy with the ending. Left me wanting to read more about Tonya & Micah & heck I want to hear more about Ollie & Emma. Cant forget our shy Cowboy either so glad he finally got the courage to talk to Kate. I am left wanting more from this story. I loved it all. Thank you for letting me read this.
