Moving On (College of Charleston, #3) by Kate L. MaryBYKate L. Mary

First off I want to tell y'all that I am a huge lover of this series. The whole college of Charleston series has me wrapped up. I was ecstatic when I saw that Moving On was available to me because I could not wait to read Chris's story. After reading The List I totally felt so bad for him. Don't get me wrong I wanted Annie to find her happiness even if it was with Ryan it just killed me to have him so hurt and in the way he had to find out. I absolutely LOVED this story of Bette and Chris. I enjoyed seeing their friendship truly grow. They truly truly became best friends before anything and I really liked seeing them get to that point. I hated that they took so long but I think that it was necessary so that they could finally realize that they loved each other. Also for Chris I liked his evolution of realizing what he is really upset about when it comes to Annie & Ryan. Him realizing where his anger actually lies. Thank you for the opportunity to have read this. I loved every bit of it and I look forward to more College of Charleston!
Here is the entire College of Charleston series in order:

Book Review: Reap by Tillie Cole

Reap (Scarred Souls, #2)Reap by Tillie Cole

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

**I was gifted with an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review**

Reap (Scarred Souls, #2) by Tillie Cole
 BY Tillie Cole

WoW Wow Wow... First off I received this like a day before it was supposed to archive so I rushed and bought Raze and decided sleep was NOT an option. I am a fan of Tillie Cole. Her Sweet Home series is amazing and although I know this series is polar opposites in content I still needed to read it. So here I am a day or 2 after the archive date and after its been publishes with barely any sleep utterly exhausted & laking vitamin d (because i live in Alaska) but in utter amusement and in love with the characters from the Scarred Souls series. In this second installment we meet Talia & then the primal Georgian beast Zaal aka 221. The way these stories are set up and the environment is one that DUH sparks so much interest. I mean we are talking about loosing all your humanity and every memory you have and just being a cold blooded killer. The journey that Zaal takes from (lets be honest) animal to human again is really interesting and you can really feel how he sees things for the first time. Talia is wrapped up in him even though she knows they should hate each other. This was a story that wrapped me up so quick and didn't let me go until the very very end and even then I definitely was not ready to let go. SPECIALLY after the epilogue!!!! I mean how could you Tillie. Please tell me its not long until Ravage. I am impatient and I need to know the rest of the story.
Check out the Scarred Souls series:

Fashion Post 11/12/2015

So I have been overly dedicated to just reading lately and nobody I mean nobody will make me feel bad about it. However I have been neglecting other subjects that I do like to cover on my blog. So in the hope of doing something to add some sass to my blog and switch things up here is a little fashion post. There is no specific occasion for it I just really casual outfits &  a lot of my wardrobe is love of timeless pieces that can be worn differently and year after year no matter what. So here is one I really enjoyed putting together on Polyvore. Enjoy!!!

Book Review: Dead Ringer by Jessie Rosen (Pre-Order NOW)

Dead RingerDead Ringer by Jessie Rosen

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

**I was gifted with an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review**

Dead Ringer by Jessie Rosen
BYJessie Rosen

Ok more like 4 1/2 stars... The only reason why 1/2 a star is missing is because HELLO that ending was brutal. That was a cliff hanger above a sea of zombies. (yes I related it The walking dead) Ok so now about this book. This was an insane read. I started this book and was instantly drawn in and couldn't drop it for about 6 chapters. I just couldn't stop reading. Then I hit a block. Now this block I hit is more so for me and not because of the writing. So let me explain. I am hispanic & nosy as all hell so when I start getting impatient with something I take a break from it and then come back to it. So because of my characteristics I was slower in the middle of the book. Not at all because of the writing because every time I went back & picked it up I would get sucked in just a tiny bit more again and then I would get impatient with myself. Every time I would get impatient I would step away because I didn't want to be that person to skip to the end and read backward for the sake of answers. Boy am I thankful that I didn't read it backwards for answers because it made the WTF moments that much better. I found myself actually screaming "WHAT THE FUCK" at the dining room table while stuffing my face with a double cheeseburger from McDonalds so it probably sounded for like "Gwuat ga fugggg" and yeah the family looked at me like I was crazy. In that moment I knew that I needed that next book asap and that this book was awesome! this was such a good read and wow the PLOT TWIST are like WOAH I had to take a snack break to continue. This was full of mystery and the way that its written already makes your wonder "what is going on?" You are reading 3 different peoples POV. You have Laura, Charlie, & Sasha! Its up to us the reader to try to put things together. So now to the important question Jessie Rosen when is the next book coming out? Don't make us wait long. So many futures are hanging in the air and and so many pasts need to be uncovered still. Amazing ride with this one and I can't wait for the next book. So many answers!!!

DEAD RINGER WILL BE AVAILABLE ON November 11th 2015!

Book Review: Pucked Over By Helena Hunting

Pucked Up (Pucked, #2)Pucked Up by Helena Hunting

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

**I was gifted by the author with an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review**

Thank you to Helena Hunting for providing me this advance readers copy. I read Pucked (Pucked, #1) by Helena Hunting early this year after getting a recommendation through Goodreads. I went through a bundle of emotions reading that one and enjoyed it so much. Specially being able to laugh. I love a good book that awakens every emotion but also makes you laugh. Now with that said this book lived up to everything "Pucked" did! It woke emotions along with making me laugh and giggle and also hurt & sometimes even want to slap myself in the face because of how flustered I felt with certain situations. Miller is a mans man but he is finding out that maybe his old ways are just that, Old and he is finding feelings being awaken by Sunny. I loved getting just a guys POV. Its not often you get just a guys POV. We often just get a female or both but hardly ever just get a males POV and i found that so interesting. I am looking forward to the next book in this stand alone series. I can't wait to see how Randy & Lilys story turns out in "Pucked Over" can't wait! thank you again!

Here is the Pucked series in order:

Pucked (Pucked, #1) by Helena Hunting

Pucked Up (Pucked, #2) by Helena Hunting

COVER REVEAL

KILLING BOYS

COMING NOVEMBER 10, 2015

BLURB

A quaint New England town is thrown into chaos when a serial killer begins targeting the male virgin population of a prestigious private academy. Young, dumb, and horny, the terrified young men begin to scramble to cash in their V-cards before it’s too late.

Soon, a copycat killer emerges, but with an entirely different motive; to target all the girls who’ve already rounded home plate. The popular girls are forced into hiding while their peers swear off boys—at least until the killers are brought to justice.

Mass hysteria ensues as a desperate fight for survival begins. The student population is on their own as an inept faculty launches a campaign to save the school’s reputation. When everyone’s a suspect, trust is a commodity best left for the most intimate of friends.

Killing Boys is a thrilling and sexy throwback to the slasher films of the 90’s, with a comedic stab of dark humor. Recommended for mature readers (16+) due to sexual content, graphic violence, graphic language, offensive dialogue, drug use, and shitty behavior by bratty teenagers in general.

EXCERPT

“All I’m saying is that if you catch me with one of the students." Monica nods her head, and a dreamy smile swims across her lips. "I don’t know, lets say Crash Cooper in the Janitor’s closet after third block, but before fourth, I don’t want to be put in a position where I’m prone to lose my job.”

“If you sleep with the students, you’re fired," Campbell snaps. “Not only will you be fired, but the next person you sleep with is going to be Miss. Manson, your future cellmate, and she’ll have an active outbreak of herpes.”

Monica recoils in her chair, swallowing a visible lump in her throat. “Which kind?”

“HSV-2.”

“You have one of them, you have them all." She shrugs and slaps her hand against the long wooden conference table. "Am I right?”

“Don’t sleep with the students.”

BIO

I, K.B. Nelson, grew up on a farm in Ohio where the cows were soon replaced with an entourage of cats. When I'm not writing, you can find me doing one of two things -- getting lost on highways or getting lost in the lives of fictional characters.

Wow... A totally rollercoaster of EMOTIONS. First off Bravo because I have yet to read a book in just a males POV. Not that I am against it but because I have read others that the POV was in both the female & male but not one where it was just male. I found it really easy to read from just Bren's POV. This book had me confused, anxious, broken hearted, angry, pissed, sad, helpless then rewind & repeat all those emotions AGAIN. That to me is a masterpiece in its own. I wanted to hug Bren and slap Amanda but I guess I can also sympathize with her in the fact that its true. Fear can sometimes rationalize things that just aren't! So we meet Bren this hot Aussie (did I mention I love accents?! well i do and when there is one then I am in love!!!) who has big plans. He is about to graduate and already has his own business set to launch. He has only fallen in love twice. One of the times being recently with a girl who he lost out to and was friend zoned and the other an old flame named Amanda. When you hear him talk about Amanda you immediately know that its something he only thinks is over. But things are not OVER. When he receives a text from her out of the blue he immediately is packing his things to go see her because he knows it must be serious. When he gets there well his world is flipped on its axis and he is met with things that he never knew he would have to deal with. He has to reevaluate everything. Has obstacles to take on that no one should never have to. This story was beautiful and had me full of all kinds of feels!!!
Thank for the opportunity to have read this. I will be picking up the prior book and can't wait for the next.
P.S. I read this book in 1 day!!!

This book will be available on October 22, 2015

Is it possible to give a book more then 5 because if so I would vote for ALL 10. This book was MORE. So much more then what I thought. It was completely heart felt and gave you those teeny tiny butterflies in my stomach. Madeline was such a unique character. For someone who has never been outside due to her illness she is extremely knowledgeable of the WORLD. She knows more about what is around us then we do ourselves. She sees Olly moving in next door and she instantly feels a connection. I wouldn't say that it was like total Love I think it was also the fact that he was (what she assumed) the same age as her and for someone who can't be around anyone you can't help but be drawn to them. It was the spark to set everything in motion for Madelines world to come in full color but also to crumble. The interaction that you see through emails & messaging & on the window was absolute genius. I loved her own little pictures of what she imagined in her head. I specially loved that fact that Madelines favorite book was The Little Prince because it just so happens to be mine. She may not have gone anywhere but to her books helped her travel the world. There were so many things that I felt i could relate to with Madeline. This was a ride and it was beautiful and I can see why its such an anticipated book for 2015. I am not surprised that the books rights were bought to hopefully make a movie. I for one look forward to it! Happy reading to everyone! also thank you for giving me the opportunity to read this book. It was wow amazing, fantastic, & everything nice in this world.

Truth & Temptation (Summer Love, #3) by Riley Edgewood

Riley Edgewood

This is the 3rd book in the "Summer Love" series by Riley Edgewood. I was lucky enough to receive that previous book which is

Surf & Surrender (Summer Love, #2) by Riley Edgewood

and I fell in love with this series. I was hooked. I purchased the first book from the series which is

Rock & Release (Summer Love, #1) by Riley Edgewood

and wow again I was in love. So much more invested in the characters. When I saw that this book along with Teagens story was available i was ecstatic about reading it because well I was dying to get her story and also because I have loved the other 2 books and let me just say IT DOES NOT DISAPPOINT!!!! I loved everything about Teagen and you can see how her thoughts are all just bundled up and you can't help but sympathize with her and what she is going through. I loved that again you see growth within the character. True character development and more so in this book because it was emotional and mental specially due to it always battling each other. Thank you for bringing this story to life. I feel like it brings light to situations and it helps others see a little into the mind of someone who is suffering. Those who suffer that most are the ones who are hiding it in the best way possible. This was amazing and like i have said before I hope there are many many more stories to come from series. Thank you for the opportunity to have read this story.

One Chance Night (Make A Change #1) by Eliza Boyd

First off I wanna say that I didn't know where this book was going at all. Every time I thought I knew what was about to happen I was surprised with a different turn out and i mean that in a good way. It really touched an issue that you don't read about often. Falling out of love and falling into just a routine and feeling like there is no way out. I thought this was so well written and such a different kind of read but amazing nonetheless. I loved it all the way through. I also loved how the main character is not quick to find Brett after she makes her decision about her marriage. I thought that was a very well thought out decision because you wanted there to be some character development. In order for us to be able to love others we gotta first learn to love ourselves and that was what I felt one of the meanings to this book. Every little step was well thought out and such an important part of this book and the characters journey. I loved this book and I want to thank you so much to giving me the opportunity to have read it. I hope to see the next book and can't wait to read it! thank you for a wonderful story.
